Maryland publishes the 2011 MdMUTCD with later chapter revisions. The complete 2011 PDF does not include the separately posted 2009 reversion pages. Since November 1, 2017, its prohibitions on pedestrian hybrid beacons, R10-25 signs, and purple toll-plaza markings are superseded.
Use the agency’s updated chapter index, which identifies 2022 changes to speed-limit guidance, crosswalk markings, and shoulder signs, and 2023 changes to work-zone speed limits and automated flagger assistance devices. An old complete PDF alone omits these later changes.
